International Men's Day: Interview with Married Couple

international_mens_dayHappy International Men's Day! Did you know that this holiday existed? Many people are familiar with International Women's Day, but you don't hear much about people celebrating International Men's Day. That's because this day was only celebrated for the first time on November 19, 1999, making it a very young holiday. Today, International Men's Day is celebrated in more than 60 countries worldwide.

But wait a minute, what is International Men's Day all about? The day is actually about promoting awareness of men's health issues, gender equality, and good male role models. However, since the day is not yet well-known, the askalo team interviewed Jennifer and Manuel, a local married couple, to find out what International Men's Day means to them. Check out the video!

The video is funny ;-) I only learned about International Men's Day this year, but think it is a good idea. I see it all the time that women pay more attention to their well being than men.

Thanks Denise for your comment, glad you enjoyed the interview! Jennifer and Manuel are hilarious, we had a lot of fun with them!
